PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (BNC) — An elder and evangelist working in upper New York state has assumed the editorship of the Sermon Lines website.

Douglas Kashorek is an elder and the evangelist with the congregation in Plattsburgh, NY, on Lake Champlain, above the Adirondacks, and below the Canadian border. He is an author who has taught writing at the college level and contributes to various publications.

Douglas’s experience in an area where the church is not strong provides him with a unique perspective.

Douglas’s most recent post to Sermon Lines was made earlier today, “Even If Someone Rises from the Dead,” on the story of the rich man and Lazarus, in Luke 16.

Sermon Lines seeks to serve the teacher and preacher with little or no training, especially those who do not work full-time.

SermonLines.com is a service of Forthright Press, which also publishes Brotherhood News, Forthright Magazine, The Fellowship Room, Believing Prayer, and other content on the internet as well as books on spiritual and biblical topics.

The site accepts submissions from brotherhood teachers and preachers.

The site may be followed via free subscriptions to the website or by RSS feed.
