WILKESBORO, N.C. (BNC) by Lowell White — All the bright, pretty, colored lights all over the world shining in solidarity will not stop the Jihadists from killing whom they believe are infidels. We may be having a hard time knowing how to deal with these religious fanatics set on violence.
Jesus has told us something important we should do, in what we call “The Lord’s Prayer,” or more aptly named “The Disciples Prayer.” We need to pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven,” and “deliver us from evil.”
Remember, too, that Paul spoke by inspiration these words:
“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer” Romans 13:1-4 ESV.
My prayer is that the Islamists will yield to the will of God and become followers of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
While I do that, I will not discourage my United States government or any other government from carrying out their duty to incur judgment as God’s Word says they have a right to do.

These Jihadists are hoodlums looking for an excuse to inflict hrm on others. Good-hearted Muslims are embarrassed by them, and the worse they get, the more good-hearted Muslims are leaving their religion and looking to Christianity. The media may not tell this, but the Muslims are beginning to call Christianity a “rellgion of peace.”

More to the result of this or ANY tragedy… speaking about “mingled blood,”Jesus also told us this: “I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish” (Twice in Luke 13).
Should our focus be on what they have done or what they NEED to do because of what they have done? All sin requires an exacting response to an Almighty God.

One thing must be pointed out. That is, we should not pray “Thy kingdom come” because the kingdom is here now (Matt. 3:2 : Mark 9:1 : Col. 1:13).
