New Zealand Ladies Challenge 2012
PALMERSTON NORTH, New Zealand (BNc) by Rachel Kyle — The Palmerston North congregation welcomed 65 women Oct. 25-26 for Ladies Challenge 2012.
Sixty-four Christian sisters from over twelve New Zealand congregations and a visitor from Australia came together for a weekend of spiritual growth. The three days were full of fun, laughter and friendship complete with good meals, late night chats, and beautiful singing.
Celine Sparks
The featured speaker this year was Celine Sparks from Huntsville, Ala. Celine is a free-lance humorist, contributing editor for Christian Woman magazine, and author of Because I Said So.
Using her humor and biblical perspective, Celine endeared herself to each woman who attended and invited them to learn more about the spiritual accessories that we each should have.
She based her spiritual accessories material on 2 Peter 1:5-8.
Her daughter Miriam gave an excellent talk to the ladies about women who have influenced her and helped ‘accessorize’ her Christian walk.

Miriam also taught a lesson on Esther to the young ladies at Palmerston North on Sunday.
We are thankful that Celine and Miriam were willing to travel so far (and even lose luggage!) to be with us for this special opportunity of fellowship.
The work that the Palmerston North ladies put into this weekend was evident, and we can’t wait for Ladies Challenge 2013!
