England (BNc) — A fraudulent e-mail is being circulated requesting funds for brother Trevor Williams in England.
As the e-mail states, brother Williams is indeed “a dedicated and faithful preacher,” but the e-mail address listed for him is false, so any communication about a gift would go to the fraudsters rather than to brother Williams.
The sender of the message is also forged. It is supposedly from Keith Sharp, who is a gospel preacher in the States, but he did not send this e-mail and has not been at the congregation listed for more than two years.
You are asked to send funds via Western Union. This is always a warning, since funds sent by Western Union can be collected without identification.
It is sad that evil men misuse the names of faithful brethren for their fraudulent activities.
