Serving Christ brings joy for the freedom we receive by his blood and motivates us always to do our best to save others, as well as our own soul, 1 Tim 4.16. Change then means opportunity to grow and improve.
This site will change software (probably on 2023-02-24, Friday) since what we have used for many years has become complex and complicated.
If you are an email subscriber to the site, or even a visitor, you shouldn’t feel any difference, although we might need to change the theme (the format you see on the site).
If, however, you follow this site through WordPress/Jetpack, this access will end. You will need to find another means of notification. We recommend subscribing to the site by email, at the end of this article, or by RSS.
Please do make this move, to avoid missing upcoming stories and a book review of Church Reset by an Australian brother.
When migrating the site to the new software, email subscriptions will also be migrated without needing to be renewed. Also, the RSS feed will still have the same link.
We’ve already done this migration on Forthright Magazine, the GoSpeak ministry site, Believing Prayer, and my personal microblog. Other sites remain to be migrated still, such as Fellowship Room, Sermon Lines and Forthright Press.
Each site has a specific focus and that is why there are several within the Forthright/GoSpeak family. Each site is independent as far as the software and subscriptions are concerned.
For the curious, we are going to the ClassicPress software, which is similar to what we have used, but peels back much of the recent complexity.
We pray to God that these changes will serve the progress of the gospel and the building up of our spiritual family.
