CORINTH, Miss. (BNC) — The Pine Vale Children’s Home no longer works with the state foster-care program, but now accepts “voluntary placements by families looking for healing, help, and hope,” according to the Sept. 12 PDF issue of “The Banner.”
The Banner is published by the Iuka, Miss., congregation, east of Corinth.
The notice mentioned that this means the children’s home is now completely dependent upon the congregations and individual saints for support. Apparently, it will no longer receive government funds.
The bulletin encouraged families or individuals who are struggling and who could “benefit from a structured Christian environment” to contact Pine Vale through their website.

This is probably a good idea to get away from government funds.
