NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BNC) — The Gospel Advocate Company announced yesterday the sale of the company to Randy Duke, elder in the Mt Juliet congregation.
The sale of the fifth-oldest US magazine will be effective Apr. 1.
Randy owns a human-resource consulting business and works with the Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver, Colo., as director of development.
Besides Gospel Advocate magazine, the company also publishes Christian Woman magazine, books, and Bible school curriculum.

The late Guy N. Woods had written a revision of Johnson’s Notes but Brother Anderson for whatever reason did not publish it. I hope Brother Duke has the right to those notes and do our brotherhood a great service by publishing that revision.

Now and again I think about that revision. Would be interesting to have somebody like Jack Lewis give it another going-over and publish it.

Sounds like a good idea. I have a copy of this. Book but a revision would be good, perhaps in a larger type.
