MADISON, Ala. (BNc) — Eli Williams is a nine-year-old boy who has spent the last two years fighting medulloblastoma. Scans recently revealed that he had relapsed. Only experimental treatment is an option now.
Before he can do this treatment, he will spend Christmas at home and wants to work on his bucket list, including a trip to Disney World.
Friends began a fund-raising campaign for Eli’s list, and in just two days, the original goal of five thousand dollars was raised to six, after contributions poured in.
Today the figure topped eleven thousand dollars.
Eli is one of four children. His family attends the Madison congregation.
The creator of the fund, Kelly Cain, has said that the fund-raising will be concluded in a few days.
“The response has been amazing and the family is so very thankful for all of the donations that have been received,” she said on the Facebook group for prayers for Eli.

This must be so hard for the family, but I will pray the experimental drugs do the right thing. Our grandson went to NIH at Bethesda, MD and was/is on a totally experimental program. We think he is cancer free.
