Short version: Please sign up to the subscription list at right; we changed services after the old one failed.
So we encourage you to sign up to the new list even if you were a subscriber before.*
An advantage of the new email subscriptions is that you can get the stories immediately as they are published, if you so desire. On sign-up, you have the option of immediate, daily, or weekly emails. Every email contains a link to manage or cancel your subscription.
This email list (again, at the top right column) is your best option, because it’s automatic. Other services like Twitter and the Forthright Press page on Facebook are posted manually.
Again, we’d like to emphasize that all our services are managed by the subscriber. The editors don’t add or remove email addresses. We respect you too much to do otherwise.
Finally, besides being free, here’s the best reason of all to sign up now to BNc: stories that move and motivate, about faithful saints and active churches, and tributes to the work of God in young and old and in those who have received their reward.
*As of yesterday, we removed the Google Feedburner option for email subscriptions from the BNc site and replaced it with the more user-friendly WordPress email subscription. Feedburner appears to have quit notifying subscribers around Sept. 24. Since that date, none of our subscribers have gotten any notifications by email. At the moment, we have no way of transferring subscriber emails from it to the new list (we’re looking at some not-so-good options).
