Eindhoven, HOLLAND (BNc)- Twenty Dutch-speaking ladies from various congregations in Holland and Flanders came together for a day of study and fellowship Saturday, May 24.
They met at the local congregation’s building.
The singing was led by Celia Rog, a devotional was led by Ruth Krumrei and lessons were given by Nita Blaakmeer and Ans Van Erp.
Nita taught from Phil. 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She showed that in spite of the daily challenges that Christians face, they can draw the strength they need from Christ and his word.
Ans used Phil. 4:4 for her topic, “Rejoice in the Lord always.” She taught that Christians can rejoice in Christ even in difficult times because of God’s great promises.
The ladies each brought a dish for lunch, so there was both spiritual and physical food in abundance.
The local congregations are small, so it is a great encouragement for Christian ladies to be able to sing, study, talk and laugh together.
