CHANCELLOR, Al (BNc) — Camp Wiregrass Christian Youth Camp ended the summer of 2021 after eight weeks of camping. Final recap provided by Angie Braswell, wife of board member and Executive Director Andy Braswell and secretary at the camp, provided the following information:
Total campers – 593; Campers who received the distinguished Bible Award – 500; Baptisms – 13; Prayer requests – 3; Scholarships awarded – 26; Campers with no affiliation with churches of Christ – 270; Staff count – 262.
Camp Wiregrass is located near Chancellor, AL in south Alabama on the grounds of a former country club and golf course.
