(BNc)- The Gospel Broadcasting Network (GBN) will be hosting an informational webcast later this week.
Members of the church of Christ are invited to join GBN at noon EDT on Friday, May 23, through noon EDT on Saturday, May 24, for a 24-hour long presentation: “GBN – Around the Clock, Around the World.”
“GBN – Around the Clock, Around the World” is an in-depth explanation of the scope and potential of the first mission work of its kind among churches of Christ.
Viewers will have opportunity to be a part of online and call-in discussion and to contribute in a safe, secure manner via the internet during the 24-hour-long program.
This special event will be conducted via the internet at www.gbntv.org. The event will not air on GBN TV, because GBN does not solicit funds from the public, for obvious scriptural reasons.
The event is an excellent way for those who are not fully aware of GBN to find out more about this great work.
GBN is overseen by the elders of the Highland church in Dalton, Ga., and has been broadcasting over two and a half years.
The network reaches a potential audience of millions every day, bringing many excellent evangelistic teaching programs produced by brethren to a lost and dying world.
GBN utilizes many existing evangelistic television works such as “In Search of the Lord’s Way” with Mack Lyon, “Preaching the Gospel” with James Watkins, “The Truth in Love” with Eddie Parrish and “Searching for Truth” with John Moore, just to name a few.
The ministry also produces many programs itself, including the widely viewed “Good News Today” with Jim Dearman.
To access the live event you can go to GBN’S website and look for the link “For members of the church of Christ Only.” Two confirmations will be necessary before access is granted to the event.
