Johnny Ramsey, what can you say about this man. He has inspired me in so many ways that if I would have know, I would have been at his funeral. In this day and age, we need more preachers that had his thrust for christ and the scriptures. He was an awesome individual. Better than that, HE WAS A CHRISTIAN, A MEMBER OF THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST and I am proud to have called him my brother in christ.

The first time I heard Johnny speak was at a lectureship at the urging of our preacher who was trained by Johnny at Brown Trail school of preaching,James Rankhorn. Upon returning James asked what I thought of him, I replied ” You have some big shoes to fill” Johnny could quote on average,120 passages of scripture in several translations off the top of his head in a sermon. Heaven gained a great ambassodor for Christ.
