Thoughts on Work from a Worker

I met David Bayi on my first trip to Tanzania in 2003. He is, on the surface, a reserved man, but he has a winning smile and jovial personality to go along with a tenacity in teaching the gospel few can match.
His former profession was competitive road racing, in which he did quite well. The discipline and determination that characterized his life and work before becoming a Christian describes his labors as a gospel preacher now. Read more

Triple Blessing in Teaching the Gospel

JOÃO PESSOA, BRAZIL (WGN)- What a wonderful blessing it is to see someone, with whom you studied the Bible, believe and be baptized! It is also a marvelous blessing to be able to show a young Christian how to teach a personal Bible study and see him do so. Put these two things together, plus one other Christian who also saw that she was capable of studying the Bible with another person, and you have a triple blessing. DALTON GA (WGN)- The Gospel Broadcasting Network (GBN) sponsors an hour of programming on both Dish Network (ch. 9407 at noon EST) and DirecTV (ch. 323 at 8 a.m. EST). That hour of programming is the “Good News Today” program hosted by Jim Dearman, which includes various segments, highlighting the various programming featured on the full 24/7 network program schedule.

World Evangelism school to host missionary retreat
