ben-giselbachLOUISVILLE, Ken. (BNc) — Ben Giselbach, preacher with the Cedar Springs congregation, announced May 19 on his blog that he will move to Montgomery, Ala., in July to begin work with the Lads to Leaders program for youth.

“Among other things, I will be conducting workshops throughout the year at various congregations, assisting them as they get involved with the L2L program. Hannah and I both grew up doing L2L, and are very grateful to have been part of congregations that utilized this invaluable program,” he wrote.

On his blog, Ben called L2L “the largest youth group in the world,” a reference to the large conventions held annually in key American cities.

Ben cited statistics that 85% of youth who participate in L2L remain faithful when they become independent.

L2L holds competitive events in a yearly convention, but “the majority of the L2L programs are designed to be year-round programs within the local congregation,” Ben said.
