USA (BNc) — The recent storms that have generated a slew of tornados across the Midwest and South have left at least one dead and one church building seriously damaged.

There was an unconfirmed report of a one Christian’s death in Vilonia, Ark., among the eight who died, after the tornado hit the town Sunday night.One subdivision was leveled.

Hundreds were injured, Robert Swain reported to BNc. He said that the Vilonia church building is one of the main distribution sites for aid.

Yesterday the storm front moved east, and Alabama suffered the brunt of the tornados.

The Coxey church’s building in Athens, Ala., sustained heavy damage.

Vilonia was hit hard by a tornado three years ago, and north Alabama also suffered greatly from twisters during the same period.
