CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (BNc) — “I, as usual, prospect every day of my life,” is the statement Carl Sims made to me yesterday.
A master at teaching the three-lesson Open Bible Study, Carl devotes his time prospecting, teaching, and training others to teach this study.
“We’ve had 56 baptisms this year, with more expected this week,” Carl also told me. He limits himself to three to five in-home studies per day, Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.
A retired pharmacist, Carl has been Associate Minister with the Hilldale church, Clarksville, Tenn., for eleven months.
Carl preaches two Sundays a month, is head of Education and Evangelism, and teaches two weekly auditorium Bible classes.
Otherwise, he spends his time teaching others the gospel of Christ and traveling to congregations for an Evangelism Seminar where he teaches what he does so successfully.
