RANGOON, Myanmar (BNc) — Beginning in the Delta when the cyclone hit three and a half years ago, together we fed 9,000 people for more than a year and 3,000 for two years while spreading the Word.

Today there are 10 congregations growing in number and understanding.

Twice a year we bring about 50 of those good people to Rangoon for a week of intensive Bible training and they choose some of their friends that they have been talking to about the Lord.

This time 19 non-Christians were invited to join the 31 Christians for our seminar. Seven hours a day they studied, and yesterday 17 of them obeyed the gospel.

They will be going home as newborn babes in Christ. It was through your cooperation that this is possible and in their names we say thank you.

Please pray for them as they begin their Christian lives in a very hostile environment.
