TOLEDO, Oh. (BNc) — G. Kevin Syph, minister of the Ridgewood church of Christ, contacted BNc to say that a person going by the name of Derrick Phillips is going around the Kentucky and Tennessee area claiming that his car is broken down, and that he needs some money to get home.
“This guy is not from our congregation. We have never heard of this guy, he’s been scamming people from the Lord’s church all over. Please pass this message all around the brotherhood.”
