EvangelismEDMOND, Okla. (BNc) — The television program, “In Search of the Lord’s Way,” has closed a deal to air to the San Francisco Bay area, according to speaker Phil Sanders.

KOFY (TV 20) covers the bay area of San Francisco, broadcasting to 2.5 million households (6.25 million people), making it the sixth largest U.S. market.

“We will begin airing Oct. 9 each Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. This strengthens our presence on the West Coast considerably,” Phil said to BNc.

In what has been a banner year for for radio ministry, Search has opened in six new markets: Jackson, Miss.,  Wichita, Kan., Billings, Mont., Sioux City, Ia., Fresno, Calif., and now San Francisco.

More than 10 million are able to see the Search program today at a convenient time than could see it in 2010.

Mack Lyon began the Search program in 1980. It is still overseen by the Edmond church.

“I went home from work yesterday with a large smile on my face,” Phil commented on his Facebook status.

Before joining the Search program, Phil ministered in Tenn., and wrote the column, “From Friend to Friend,” for Forthright Magazine.
