WHITE BLUFF, Tenn. (BNc) — Bro. Mosley, longtime Church of Christ minister, died peacefully June 25, 2011 at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Union, S.C., he was the son of the late James Claude and Carrie Corinne Corzine Mosley.  Mosley was a minister of the gospel who preached throughout Tenn., and surrounding states.  He was the former minister of the White Bluff, West Dickson, Pond, and Clearview churches and formerly served in Shelbyville, Tenn. He held meetings from Canada to Florida.

Mosley was a most humble servant, a kind spirited man who had many ministries and visions, one being Camp Leatherwood. He was currently Chairman of the Board of the camp. He and his wife, Judy owned and operated Judy’s Flower Basket for some 20 years. He held an Associates Arts degree from Lipscomb University, which was David Lipscomb College at the time. He formerly worked in the admissions office for that institution. He was preceded in death by his brothers; James Mosley and Jackie Mosley.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years; Judy Garner Mosley of White Bluff, Tenn., his children; Gail Mosley, Diann Mosley Smithson, and Donny Mosley and his wife, Mona all of White Bluff, Tenn., his grandchildren; Tyler David Mosley, Brett Smithson, Rachel Mosley Jefferson (John), Hannah Mosley Walker (Dustin), Sarah Mosley and Rebekah Mosley Davidson (Taylor), his brother; Dan Mosley of Spencer, Tenn., his sisters; Ruth King of Detroit, Jeannie Hollis of Dunlap, Tenn., Sara Moore of Chattanooga, Tenn., Claudia Hill of Antioch, Eunice Phelps of Antioch and Mary Phipps of Signal Mtn, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
