DYERSBURG, Tenn. (BNc) — Tom Bright, Sr., preacher for the Phillips Street church in Dyersburg, Tenn., and the Director of the Online Academy of Biblical Studies, passed away on the morning of Jan. 30.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 on Tuesday evening at the Phillips St. building.
Visitation will also begin on Wednesday at 12:00 with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at Phillips St. Brother Ted Thrasher will conduct the funeral and Tom Bright, Jr. and Terry Lyons will also assist.
Funeral services will also be held on Friday, Feb. 4 at the Lee and Walnut Church of Christ located at 101 South Walnut Street, Sapulpa, OK 74066-4357, (918) 224-2024. Interment will be at Sapulpa, OK following the funeral.
Tom Jr. and Michelle for the Bright and Lyons Family, wrote the following:
“From the family let me say that your prayers, thoughts, visits, cards, letters and phone calls have been greatly appreciated. Dad’s life, legacy and basic effect on the world is one that will be forever realized. Knowing Dad and his life’s goal here on earth gives us the peace that passes understanding.”
