MEMPHIS, Tenn. (BNC) — Funeral services have been set for Liz LaVelle who lost her life on July 28, 2010.
LaVelle, 19, was traveling back to Lipscomb University when she crossed the median and was killed instantly when her car hit an 18-wheeler head-on. The cause is unknown.
The driver of the truck said that her car just suddenly appeared in front of his truck and he had nowhere to go. He was not hurt physically but was devastated by what happened.
LaVelle is the daughter of David and Jenny LaVelle. Visitation will be from 2-4 Saturday at Harding Academy on Cherry in Memphis, Tenn. Funeral service to follow visitation.
