SPRING HILL, Tenn (BNc) — The Spring Meadows congregation participated in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive with our local post office.

Members Kelly Estabrooks and Teri Moore led in the effort.  Over 125 joyful members were a part of the huge effort visiting every house in the Spring Hill postal area, sorting and helping to put up the food.

Men, women and children as young as three were a part of the huge undertaking.

The food was all weighed and the total weight exceeded 6 tons.  In fact 13,100 pounds of food was collected which the church will distribute to those in need in the Spring Hill region.

The Stamp Out Hunger campaign is sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
