THEO, Miss (BNc) — The Theo church in north Mississippi will host the fourth annual Preacher’s Files Lectureship July 31-Aug. 2.

The church’s building is located on U.S. 72 between Walnut and Corinth.

Twenty-two speakers both locally and from around the world, over a period of three days, will take a close look at the theme of “Love, Honor, and Respect” from a biblical perspective, said minister Tim Hester.

Preachers Files is a website which offers a means of studying God’s word through hosting sermons (both in audio and text format), studies, bulletin articles and an online Bible Study Forum. In addition to this, saints create blogs and publish their studies online.

The Preachers Files website reaches people in over 120 nations worldwide who have a desire to study the Bible.

Each year members of the Preachers Files Bible Study Forum pick a congregation to host the annual lectureship.

The first annual lectureship was held 2006 in Berryville, Ark., on the topic of “Evangelism.” It began as an idea for those who were on the forum to come together for a picnic.

The Pelham, Ala., church was chosen to host the second lectureship on the theme, “Let Brotherly Love Continue.”

“With the second lectureship interest was growing in both the lectureship and the online work of Preacher’s Files itself,” Hester noted.

The third lectureship was hosted 2008 by the Granby, Mo., church on the theme,  “God vs. The World” with 18 speakers.

“This year the church at Theo is looking forward to having people from all over join us the weekend of July 31-Aug. 2 for this wonderful event,” Hester said.
