BURIRAM, Thailand (BNc) Christians in Buriram Province report two restorations and a baptism in November.

A 29-year-old woman who had been unfaithful for 6 years rededicated her life to God on Nov 2. Another sister, age 35, who had left the church almost 20 years ago when she married an unbeliever, returned to the Lord on Nov. 9.

A 28-year-old man confessed his faith in Jesus as the Son of God on Nov. 16 and was baptized into Christ.
That Sunday afternoon 15 ladies of the congregation went to visit and pray with a faithful 86-year-old sister who is seriously ill.

Buriram Province in north-eastern Thailand has many forests and a population of 1.6 million. It is famous for its Khmer stone shrines. The magnificent Phanom Rung Sanctuary is considered to be the most beautiful example of Khmer architecture in Thailand.

When the Khmer Empire was at its height in the 6th century it ruled over Cambodia and parts of Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. Religions were Buddhism and Hinduism.
