LUBBOCK, Tex. (BNc)- The Southside church has announced the theme of the eleventh Lubbock Lectureship, “The Law of Christ,” slated for Oct. 12-16, said event director Tommy J. Hicks.

The Sunday-Thursday event will host 35 speakers, including Allen Webster, editor of House to House, Heart to Heart, Gerald Watkins, webmaster of PreachersFiles.com, and Rick Brumback, director of Southwest School of Biblical Studies.

An open forum will be held Monday-Thursday by Paul Sain, James Meadows, Robert Taylor and Tom Bright.

All lectures may be viewed live through the Internet at the OABS website.

Registration is free, and limited free housing and RV connections are also available.

A hardback book containing all 35 of the 2008 lectures will be available for purchase.

The Southside congregation’s building is located at 85th St. at Quaker Ave.
