EUPORA, Miss. (BNc)- James Hill Jr. began a new ministry with the congregation located at 2194 W. Roane Ave.

He and his family began their work with the Eupora Church of Christ June 19, according to the Webster (Miss.) Progress-Times.

James and his family moved from Lumberton in south Mississippi, where he preached for seven years.

James graduated 1992 from the Memphis School of Preaching.

In his 20 years of preaching, James has served congregations in Mississippi and Alabama. He graduated 1978 from Yazoo City High School and is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

“We are very pleased and honored to be here and associated with a very active, loving, church family,” Hill said to the newspaper.

He and his wife Lisa have been married for 18 years and have three children. Lisa is employed by the Webster County School District as a bus driver. James is also employed by the local school system as a substitute teacher.
