Gospel Chariot truck[Editor’s note: The Gospel Chariot Missions travels 12 months of the year through Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe, recruiting students, teaching, preaching and baptizing lost souls. The work is overseen by the Lamar, Colo., congregation. This report was received recently via another congregation.]

On the work front it is getting better and better. It is exciting to see the seed being planted and how God gives the increase.

The Gospel Chariot worked with the church in Venda for six weeks and 33 souls were added. The Chariot then worked in Swaziland along side the Bible school in Manzini. We worked in four areas and had eight baptisms. It has since moved on to Kwazulu Natal and worked with two existing congregations and baptized four more souls.

It is currently in Jozini, a rural area, working together with the long-term Bible School based in Durban. We try to partnership wherever possible. It has been a great year for us as we have been able to assist 700 souls in baptism. The other Chariot has completed its trip to Malawi. The church is over 5,000 congregations strong and you can see why. These brothers are evangelistic! With the truck as a tool they baptized over 174 souls in the month we worked there. There was no time to put up the tent, they preached in three different spots every day in the open air. They have the zeal and with your help we have been able to provide the tool, the Chariot.

The offices are doing a tremendous job in working with these new converts. We had the graduation of five short-term school students at the Pretoria office. Three of them are from an area where the church is not strong and, Lord willing, we will be able to strengthen the church with young men like these. The students have completed a one-year certificate program through Nations University. They have been linked with Nations University and will continue studying through the internet. As they learn they will teach it. “Teach others to teach others” is a Biblical principle that works beyond what we can ever realize.

The short-term school’s latest intake was in Durban beginning in September. We currently have eight students attending. One brother joined the school only days after being baptized on the Chariot. It is exciting to see the zeal these brothers have for God’s word.
