DALTON GA (WGN)- The Gospel Broadcasting Network (GBN) sponsors an hour of programming on both Dish Network (ch. 9407 at noon EST) and DirecTV (ch. 323 at 8 a.m. EST). That hour of programming is the “Good News Today” program hosted by Jim Dearman, which includes various segments, highlighting the various programming featured on the full 24/7 network program schedule.

Forthright Press publishes Glover Shipp on marriage

WINONA, MS (WGN)- Glover Shipp’s book for couples has found new life in a second edition published by Forthright Press. Edited and enlarged with an entirely new chapter, the book also gained a new, shorter title: Covenant Marriage: God’s Blueprint for Couples.
The book contains Shipp’s premarital counseling material and bases the approach to marriage on the concept of covenant, not a contract.
